In 2006 I purchased this long standing hairdressing and fashion business located in Cloncurry in the heart of North West Qld and renamed this ongoing stalwart of the town’s local businesses to begin its new chapter.

Over the years, I have redesigned and reshaped LillyJane, the exterior and the interior. Owning a shopfront business is a challenge, but challenges are there to be accepted!  I have introduced new services including a visiting beauty therapist each fortnight and an online hair appointment booking system for our clients, plus new lines of giftware and homewares that have been added to compliment our lifestyle and we continue to offer the country hospitality that has always been here.

With a wide variety of lines and the diverse nature of our region, LillyJane is not just a retail shop with one description, it includes giftware, homewares, ladies fashion, children’s ranges, accessories and a hair salon. Yes, we are multi-taskers!

With the recent years of drought, then a flood event and followed by a health pandemic, LillyJane has been open and operating through it all and I wanted to build this business further.  This has brought me to creating the LillyJane website and implementing an online shopping experience for our customers and clients who live in the region and across the country.
